I've been into lolita fashion since 2014, and started collecting in 2019. Lolita is very special to me, as I had been unwittingly looking for this fashion for my whole life! I felt like I was the only person I knew who wanted to wear things covered in bows and frills, so it was amazing to find out that there's a whole international community out there that appreciates that kind of thing :P
